Service will save us.  Our youth leadership and student service learning opportunities promote critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, interpersonal communications, and creativity.  We offer experiential opportunities that lead to careers.  Our mentoring and tutoring have benefited students who experienced learning loss during the pandemic.  Real-life projects are the heart of our focus with most addressing service or program gaps found in the community so that no one is left behind.  These programs help reduce the dropout and truancy rates, reduce crime, and promote community strength.  Volunteers and donations are welcome.

 

Beginning in June 2024, local high school students through the Montgomery County, Maryland Summer RISE program help promote safety by assisting residents in the creation of emergency preparedness plans.  After documenting personalized plans and receiving training community members were provided much-needed emergency kits which included:  a transistor radio, whistle, blanket, first aid kit, personal hygiene, shelf-stable food, and pet supplies, where applicable.  We thank our sponsors and partners for this much-needed assistance!  

Our youth-centered programs promote financial literacy, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity exposing students to requisite skills and potential careers.  Donations and volunteers are welcomed year-round.  Contact us for more information.
